So at the Kennedy School there have been a lot of open houses for the different centers at the school such as the Weiner (tee hee!) Center for Social Policy. Well at each open house there is invariably free food for the taking, which ranges anywhere from vegetable trays to ice-cream sundae bars. Well, after so many of these things I got this brilliant ideas; I thought to myself, "self, what if I devised a system for transporting some of these goodies home so that Amanda can enjoy the spoils as well?" So I found a pitcher that fit just inside my bookbag and off I went. You probably can't tell so well, but in the pitcher are two slices of pizza, several cookies, a tiny hotdog, and a tiny hamburger - plus the pie that I couldn't fit in there without making a squishy mess. Despite my efforts, Amanda was horrified for some reason. As I explained to her afterwards, its like when a cat drops a dead mouse off on the door step, you think "gross, a dead mouse!" but the cat is just goin' "look lady I'm just trying to do my part around here too."
