One More Move for our Family

Luke has accepted an administrative position with UVU and will begin work in September. His dream has always been to work at his alma mater, and the icing on the cake is that he'll be working with their dynamic president. We LOVE living in Wasatch County, but have decided that cheaper home prices Utah County are in our family's best interests for the time being.

Our favorite things about Midway are its relaxed rural vibe and its fantastic air quality. Only south Utah County has decent air since the wind blows from the south as a general rule (those inversions in Provo/Orem and SLC are nasty!) We're closing on a 3 bedroom/2 bath home in Luke's rural-ish hometown of Payson and grandma is pinching herself because we'll be a 5 minute drive away. Seven years of marriage and eight moves later, I'm ready to be done for a while.

Yay! Congrats! Ah, home ownership, that'll be the day :) What a great job too, congrats to Luke. UVU has done some exciting expanding lately and I'm sure Luke will be busy lots of interesting and challenging projects.

congratulations! that is really exciting. hopefully this will be your last move for a while. I am excited to stay in Texas for residency because it means we don't have to move. But I wish we had more cool mountain air like Utah :)
