I love the softness, roundness of a baby's profile - course, she's practically a toddler...She took her first steps a week before her first birthday, right into Luke's arms. It's funny - my last memories of a girl toddler are of Laurel - so sometimes I'll look at Anne, but I can see the memory of Laurel at this age and it's so sweet. Two daughters! I am so blessed!

I've despaired over the fact that I don't know how to "do" hair. I remember going off to preschool with my braids swinging and I just can't seem to do that for my own daughter. Depressing. But then I realized that there must be youtube tutorials - love the cutegirlshairstyles site. This is only the 2nd we've tried - and it's my first run at this braid, so it's a bit sloppy, but still - CUTE! We're only trying one new style a week so as to not completely intimidate mommy!
Potty training Dean was a piece of cake; his reward, like his sister's, was to go to the Dinosaur Museum. (Jill, he was so excited to wear his dino outfit - thank you!)
